One of my New Year's Resolutions this year was to read more; it seems too easy nowadays to not pick up an actual book and read, so, to start off, I read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Have you read this? I loved it! The thing is, when I get into a book, I read it really, really quickly - so I need some recommendations! I've heard good things about this one, but would love to hear if you have read any books which you loved.
Hi Kirsteen - I really enjoyed Gone Girl, I've not been great with scary things (like the NEWS...) since my little girl was gone but I thought this was great - v dark! A timetravellers wife is beautiful, A river runs through it by Norman Mclean is heavenly, The Sea by John Banville is a deeper read but wonderful. Gone with the wind is pretty fab too! DeleteThank you for all your recommendations, I'll be taking a look at them (I tried to read the timetravellers wife a few years ago but for some reason I couldn't get in to it, maybe it's worth another go as I know a lot of people love it)
