Over Christmas I made a bottle of my own laundry softener, which I know sounds like something you wouldn't normally bother doing, as you can easily buy a bottle in the shops. But; by making my own I knew exactly what was in it, and it actually felt really good to make something useful! (I got this out of the Simply Wonderwoman book my Mum bought me)
To make a litre, I used:
600ml white vinegar
60 drops lavender oil (this sounds like a lot but it isn't)
400ml water
Just measure out everything and pour it in to a nice bottle, and shake well before each use. Easy!
