MINI RODINI PENGUINS

So in love with the new penguin covered clothing from Mini Rodini - so cute!  Available at the adorable Cissy Wears, one of the best children's shops around (everything she stocks is amazing!)

SUMMER SANDALS

I'm kind of obsessed with these sandals; they're just adorable.

They are water resistant, making them perfect for days at the beach exploring.  The tan coloured ones are my favourite,  they'd look sweet on both boys or girls.

ANIMALS FOR LITTLES

I can't resist anything for kids with a cute animal face or print on.  Adorable.  Here are a few things that caught my eye;

1 - Bear pyjamas / 2 - Fawn pillow / 3 - Fox shoes / 4 - Bunny mittens / 5 - Panda backpack / 6 - Whale dress.

BIRTHDAY TSHIRTS

Because, you know, why shouldn't you let everyone know it's your birthday?! :)

PRINCESS / ASTRONAUT BEDDING

For your little princess or wannabe-astronaut; these oh-so-cute bedding sets.  So cute!  (Alfie likes to think he is an astronaut at the moment, sweet :)

BEADED HEARTS

Me and Jamie made these little love hearts the other afternoon after pinning this idea on Pinterest (although we didn't make them into badges - we just left them as they were).  The pattern was really easy to follow, and Jamie liked sorting all the beads and finding the right colours.  A nice quiet time activity.

CRAFT-A-DAY

Both Jamie and Alfie LOVE to craft - painting, drawing, making castles from cardboard boxes; you name it, and as it's the Easter holidays we've been busy creating lots of things.  This book looks like a must-have; full of great ideas and beautifully designed.  Definitely on my wish list :)

LITTLE BIRD PYJAMAS

I recently bought a pair of Little Bird pyjamas for Alfie, and they look really great on!  They've washed really well too (such a bonus when you have a very active 3 year old :)  The dealbreaker though, is that Alfie loves wearing them.  Take a look at the website for more very cute clothes.

BABY LEGGINGS

One word: adorable.

BABY BOTTOM BUTTER

My Mum recently told me about this bottom butter, that my little sister was using and loved (I've completely missed all the hoo-hah about it over the last few years apparently!)  I love anything that's all natural so decided to buy a pot - and it's gorgeous.  It smells of vanilla, but isn't too overpowering, and I've been using it on the usual dry areas - knees / elbows / lips.  I even read a review from a parent who said she'd been using it as a face cream, and she thought it was was better that Creme de la Mer!  I might give it a go on my face for the next few weeks...

MAMA / MINI

Mama / Mini this week: a gorgeous citrus based cleanser from Aesop, and for the littles, a lemon print babygro and bag.

MAMA / MINI

So, last week I had flu, which meant I spent the entire time either on the sofa or in our bed, huddled up against the chill or the next minute trying to cool down from a fever.  Not fun.  Not even watching girly films like Pride and Prejudice and You've got Mail made me feel any better.  I am however, now feeling a lot better and much more human again.  Ha!

I was thinking about new ideas for the blog, and I thought this one would be fun to do - a Mama / Mini series featuring something gorgeous for both Mama and Baby / little ones.  This time: sweet pastel triangle earrings, and cute rucksack, from Uncovet.

THE MOON + STARS

Over the past few months, Jamie has become really interested in the Moon and loves to look at it on a clear night and to point it out to us.  I love the idea of having a print in their room for him to gaze at before bedtime - these are my favourites.

From top left, clockwise - Moon man poster / map of the stars / stages of the moon print / La lune poster.

BANANA!

Alfie received this book by Ed Vere for Christmas, and it's very quickly become his favourite.  The story is very simple; that you need to say 'please' when you're asking for things, but both Jamie and Alfie think it's hilarious to act out how the monkey is saying 'banana' - banana? banana! banana!!  It makes us giggle anyway.  A nice one to add to your collection.

Watercolour paint set

This is without a doubt the boys favourite thing to do at the moment; and we love this paint set we picked up the last time we were at Ikea (we also got some of their coloured paper pads, such a good price). We now have lots of masterpieces to put up on their bedroom wall!

H&M Animal masks

I love these sweet little masks from H&M, they'd make such a cute stocking filler!

Memory block games

I love giving games as gifts to children - something they can play with again and again. Memory games like these are something we love to play at our house, and I love the idea of personalising them. This blog has step by step instructions on making them; perfect as a stocking filler.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We're going to visit family tonight for some trick-or-treating, then come home to eat our dinner (I love these spooky pizzas!) If you're in the mood for some crafting today, these ideas are lovely - the black cat fairy lights are my favourite.

Erzi toys

The Erzi range of toys are beautifully designed; they definitely fit into the category of toys that you don't mind being left out. The Wooden Colour Mixing game is my favourite; I can see us having lots of fun with it. Available at Alexandalexa.

Present & Correct: Baby Book

Present & Correct is one of my new favourite finds: a beautifully designed website stocking the most gorgeous items. I love this modern baby book that would be such a sweet souvenir of all those little things about your baby that you want to remember forever. Their collection of prints is lovely too.
