Cheese, ham + chive muffins

These are the muffins we made at the weekend; I wanted to make something savoury that we could maybe eat for breakfast or put into Jamie's lunchbox. They tasted so good slightly warmed with a mug of hot tea :)

Mini: Knitted toys

Sweet knitted toys; adorable!

Vanity Fair party

I thought there were some amazing dresses at the Vanity Fair party; Victoria Beckham's was my favourite, and Gwyneth Paltrow looked just beautiful.  I loved all the pale-coloured dresses.

Breakfast

This is what I've been eating for breakfast recently: natural yoghurt, topped with muesli, blueberries, and honey.  Delicious.

Pretty.

Love this.

Favourite things

(Eating blueberries as a snack)

Happy weekend! What have you planned for the next couple of days? We haven't made any big plans; sometimes I think it's nice to just see what happens. This past week we've been eating yummy pasta to keep us warm, making delicious fruit smoothies and listening to Emeli Sande.

(New chest of drawers in our living room; much needed storage)

Sweet ballet pumps

Aren't these suede ballet flats sweet?  Perfect with skinny jeans and a tshirt.

L'eau de Chloe

These are some of the pictures for the new fragrance from Chloe, and it makes me so excited to try it.  (Do you find that you just know you're going to love a perfume even before you know what it smells like?)  Apparently, the fragrance is a combination of rose water, patchouli, and delicate citrus to recall 'summer's ice cool lemonades'.

White mugs

Love these white mugs from Ikea.

Lunch date

Last week as a treat we took the boys out for lunch, and it was so much fun.  Jamie loved looking through the menu and choosing his meal, and couldn't believe the size of the ice cream sundae he ate for dessert!
Alfie's favourite part of the meal was having unlimited drinks with a straw; one of his favourite things to do at the moment:) (Those chubby little hands!)

Pancakes!

Are you having pancakes tonight?  I love them, but hardly ever get around to making them so I'm excited for later.  I've tried lots of different toppings, but always go back to simple lemon and sugar.  What's your favourite topping?

New Girl

Have you seen New Girl yet? I love it! I'm a big fan of Zooey Deschanel so couldn't wait to watch it. She's adorable :)
In case you haven't seen it, Zooey's character, Jess, is funny, sweet, and just the kind of girl you'd like as your friend (and she has the most gorgeous hair). Watch it!

Favourite things

(Sweet gold cupcake wrappers for glamorous baking)

Happy Friday! This half-term week has been full of games, lots of drawing, and, as the weather's been a little milder, playing outside too. We've also managed to tick a few items off our to-do list; all those little jobs that have needed a little action have been done and it feels very satisfying. Today we're taking the boys out for lunch: I'm hoping Alfie will sit down for long enough to enjoy some of his meal!
(Chocolate chip cookies to eat with large mugs of tea)
(Homemade carrot and coriander soup)

Loving Sienna Miller's tiny baby bump :)

Beauty loves

3 of my beauty favourites at the moment: first, the Aroma Confort body milk from Decleor (a Christmas present).  This has one of the most comforting, gorgeous scents I've come across in a body lotion.  I can put this on in the morning and still smell it in the evening.
Next, Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. This makes your skin look and dewy and glowy; perfect when your little ones wake at 6am every morning!  (This would make a fantastic gift for a new mum!)
Finally, the prettiest nude nail polish, Elizabeth Street from Nails Inc.  A couple of coats of this gives that natural, polished look that I love.

Pomegranate cous cous

This is a side dish we eat a lot; the pomegranate adds lovely texture to the cous cous. We first tried this with a Moroccan lamb stew and it was delicious!
Simply cut the pomegranate in half and remove the seeds, then add to your cous cous. I love how pretty it looks.

Pretty flowers

Happy Valentines! Have you anything planned for today? Tonight we'll be sharing some nice food and wine at home, which I'm really looking forward to. These gorgeous flowers from wild at heart are perfect for me; that lovely mixture of country and wild flowers.

Laura Bailey for Radley

I've always admired Laura Bailey and her style and so I'm loving the campaign featuring Laura from Radley.  Love the laid-back pictures.

Favourite things

(Reading magazines to relax)

This week has flown by, so I am especially looking forward to this weekend to slow down a little and relax. I'm hoping our colds will have gone (we have all been sniffling the last few days), leaving us to enjoy the half-term week ahead. Jamie and I have an outing planned for Monday; just us as a special treat. Have you any plans for the weekend? Here are a few of my favourite things from the last week:
(Pretty patterned napkins)
(Coffee to warm up cold mornings)
(Delicious food cooked by my Mum)

Have a lovely weekend x
