Cute bunting

Alfie's birthday is coming up soon (he'll be three) so I've been browsing the internet looking for cute ideas for his little party. This bunting is so sweet, and could be hung in a bedroom after the party is over (available from Wunderlust, on Etsy.)

Memory block games

I love giving games as gifts to children - something they can play with again and again. Memory games like these are something we love to play at our house, and I love the idea of personalising them. This blog has step by step instructions on making them; perfect as a stocking filler.

Wrapping

I've been pinning lots of images of gifts recently; gathering inspiration for wrapping all those Christmas presents (and the birthdays inbetween!) Love the combination of stripey paper and natural string here. A nice idea I've spotted is to wrap gifts in fabric - so perfect for awkwardly shaped presents, and it looks really pretty too.

Present & Correct: Baby Book

Present & Correct is one of my new favourite finds: a beautifully designed website stocking the most gorgeous items. I love this modern baby book that would be such a sweet souvenir of all those little things about your baby that you want to remember forever. Their collection of prints is lovely too.

Trays

Yesterday evening I went to my friend's house and took cookies to share, so she brought out a tray like these ones above to put our drinks and the cookies on. How sweet are they?! I'd never really thought about having a tray before, but now I can see how useful they would be - and my friend says she also uses hers to put her laptop on when she's using it :)

Wooden dipped bowls

Aren't these mini bowls adorable? They would look beautiful filled with little appetisers at a party. I would choose the white and grey, but they're all so sweet!

Painted blocks

How lovely are these blocks?! They're simply plain wooden blocks that have been painted in different colours - I think this is an activity that Jamie would love to do. You could even make a puzzle with them!

Cookbooks: The Flavour Thesaurus

This book is on Neil's list of cookbooks to get - it's a guide to pairing different flavours and tastes, for example chocolate and bacon (yum!) It's also full of interesting facts and looks like one of those books you can curl up with and read, which I love. It would also look beautiful on the bookshelf too!
